Do It Yourself Scratch Off Bridal Shower Cards

Scratch off cards can be used for tons of party themes and if you are wondering how to make your own, then I have a printable designed for you along with simple instructions to create your own.  

Materials & Tools:
• Card Stock Paper
• Scissors
• Liquid Dish Soap
• Art Deco Glamor Dust Glitter Acrylic Paint Silver Bling
• Clear Packaging Tape
• Paint Brush
• Paint Bowl
• Apron

Download Your Free Printable Scratch Off Bridal Shower Cards

To begin this project, you will need to print off the scratch card printable. You may want to print off a few free printable scratch off pages.  Place all your materials and tools on your craft table to begin working on your scratch off game.  Place your materials and tools on your craft table, so they are ready and available for use.   

To start, please have your clear packaging tape ready and then pick up your scissors and cut the clear tape to fit your scratch off circular area that holds the code “Winner” or “Sorry Not A Winner.”  Apply the tape to this area only on your printable game. Now, please make your scratch off solution.

Scratch Off Solution:
•1 Part Dish Soap
•2 Parts Silver Glitter Paint
•Paint Bowl
•Paint Brush

Mix your scratch off solution in a small paint container.  Please follow instructions below to mix and make the Scratch Off Solution.  Use your paint brush to apply paint over the tape you applied with the paint solution.  You need to paint on four layers, but please let them dry in between.  When you are finished applying all the layers, make sure you have your scratch off cards sit out on your craft table.  After the cards are finished drying, test out one of your scratch off cards to make sure they are ready to use and it reveals the secret code after you scratch the paint off.  The DIY Scratch Off Cards are wonderful party ideas for your bridal shower, bachelorette party or whatever event you are hosting.

My Bridal Shower Party Organizer Made With Evernote

When I started to use Evernote, I thought to myself, “My notes needs to be designed pretty and functional” to do my job.  I was researching the design aspect and the major option I noticed is that Evernote is geared towards the Mac users, but do not worry Windows users can use Evernote too, it is just that it doesn’t have some of the same features. The features that are the same in Evernote for Mac and PC are Stacks, Notebooks, Notes and Tags. The best feature on Evernote paid version is scanning business cards feature which comes in extremely handy for keeping track of your vendors and venues!  The best free features would be the Web Clipper and Scannable!  I love using Web Clipper for saving websites and coupons.  I love Scannable for scanning my receipts, business cards and travel information.

Since I am in the wedding and the event industry, I wanted to see what I could design with Evernote. It helps to be a graphic artist, so I could design pretty notes!  I used the calligraphy font on my computer and designed watercolor flowers in Adobe Illustrator and Inkscape. I really liked the final results of the design in my first electronic Evernote Notebook.

The title for my Stack and Notebook is "My Bridal Party Shower Organizer."  Once, I have my planner set up is one stack named A Bridal Party Planner and inside that stack are individual notebooks.

How to Create Fun at Your Bridal Shower with The Apron Game Free Printable

For this bridal shower game, please pick an apron up at your local grocery store or order it online.  Usually most aprons are one size fits all and come in white and made with polyester cotton.  

Before bridal shower, pin and string a variety of kitchen utensils to the apron.  At the shower, ask the bride to put on and wear the bridal apron and then disperse the bridal shower apron printable game with pens to the guests.  

Have the bride slowly walk through the party room, so each

guest can view the apron.  After the bride has left the room, guests are asked to write down many of the items (kitchen utensils) as they can recall the bride wearing on the apron.  The guest who remembers the most items wins the game!

Learn How to Use Evernote in Your (Out of Town) OOT Guest Gift Basket

It has been a while since my last post and I thought I needed to share what I have been up to this year.  
Unfortunately, the business has been down due to ongoing health issues and hopefully, I will get it up and running someday down the road. In the meantime, I have the blog I can work on when my health permits me to do so.

I was thinking of things to write about and I thought about one new thing that I have learned more about this last year is Evernote.  You can do so much with Evernote!  I use it for a journal, business receipts, personal receipts, business cards, and much more.  I was thinking what other uses could I possibly have for Evernote and I came up with "How To Use Evernote in Your (Out of Town) OOT Guest Gift Basket.  Since Evernote is an Electronic Database, you will need to purchase an Amazon Fire Tablet.  I like the price range of these particular tablets to place in the guest bedrooms to place inside the gift baskets.

On my Evernote Account for my GuestRoom, I place the logon to Evernote for Guests and the Password and the location of the printer inside the home.  All the notes inside the Notebook I named "Welcome Out of Town Guest Booklet."  The Notes inserted inside the Notebook are as follows:

• A Welcome Message
• Chamber of Commerce 
• Daily Calendar with Itinerary
• Guest Room Wi-Fi Connection
• List of Favorite Restaurants & Shops with Coupons
